The only way the Macbook will get updated again is if they release a 15 inch model at WWDC, the same time they release MBPs. But its not likely.

But doesn't Santa Rosa use a different chip set on the motherboard. The cpu socket is the same but the GPU is intergrated into the motherboard. So if the macbook to move to Santa Rosa won't this require Apple to redo the whole macbook motherboard to be able to use Santa Rosa. Also won't this means a certain cost for apple to do this and lower apple profit. ???

Santa Rosa is a different socket than the current Napa Macbooks. And yes, it will require a new motherboard.
