MC507LL/A core i5 2.8 or core i7 2.8?

Does anyone know whether MC507LL/A (late 2009 imac) is a core i5 or a core i7?

I've done some googling, and I cannot find a definite answer; some places list MC507LL/A as a core i5 2.8 and other places list it as a core i7 2.8. This is a bit strange because the late 2009 imac seems to have been offered with a core i5 2.66, not a 2.8.

Your input would be appreciated.

The model with the 2.8 GHz clock is the i7. The i5 ran at 2.6 GHZ, and there were 3.06 GHZ and 3.33GHz Core2Duo models that generation.

I'm hoping that the MC507LL/A is the 2.8 i7 instead of the 2.66 i5. I ordered from a vendor that originally listed the MC507LL/A as a 2.8 i5, which is available on the 2010 imac, but not the 2009 imac. I couldn't pass on the price, $1,500 for a brand new in box imac.

Will update when I receive my new imac.

Interested to hear which machine it was, and where you found it? I ran across a local Microcenter that is selling the i5 2.66 version for $1439 and the i7 2.8 version for $1699. Both new in the box, but I've been looking on line to see if i can find a better price or save some taxes.

** Update: Deciding to buy the i7 2.8 version with the 4850 GPU. One of the main reasons I wanted a iMac was to convert video's from my HD camcorder. I shoot a fair bit of sporting events my nephews play in for my brother and use iMovie enough that using a C2D was getting painfully time consuming. I also tend to get handed lots of tapes and DVD's from family members to convert/backup so faster CPU won out over a slightly faster GPU.

So far impressed with the speed, but then again coming off a PC with a 2.4 C2D to a Hyperthreaded 8 core CPU should be fast. I ended up paying $1649 as the manager reduced it by 50 bucks to move out last years model. Consider this was a $2199 option 6 months ago, was pretty happy.
