Hi all,

Our team has developed two FREE app's. GRANDE GETTER and McFINDER

Our focus was to create applications which are soley meant for those who love their Big Mac's or Starbucks Coffee. Our team is just getting involved in the iPhone app industry but we are already having alot of fun, and we hope you have fun using these :)

Google maps does something similar yes, however our application has some added benefits especially for those only interested in quickly finding Starbucks or McDonalds.

-Only one touch needed (compared to the multiple touches needed to get the results with google maps)
-Distance measurement to help you make a decision (currently not available with google maps)

I can see a limited audience for this. Ever thought about doing the same thing but with Hospitals or Emergency Care locations? I think the audience would be a lot bigger.

Haha you gotta admit we all have a specail place in our hearts of McDee's! Remember all those happy meals and hologram hockey cards you use to get as a kid?

Those are wonderful ideas. It may take a while to get those databases setup but we will keep it on our to do list.

Yes, these apps need more features. For the Starbucks app, I recommend adding the locations of nearby banks as well. For the McDonalds app, show the closest hospital.

lol I do remember that.

I remember one particularly fun day... now keep in mind, I'm vegetarian... we went to a McDonalds... and we've done this a thousand times....

And yes, I do realize we could have just gone to Burger King or Harvey's (which is awesome... and where the hell are they all disapearing to?) Great veggie burgers at those places..

Anyways...

So, I was about 7 years old. We go to the McDonalds... we ask, just as before, to get a burger without the meat in it. lol yes, I kid you not. Burger with no meat. So... bread and veggies.

The sales person said. "Uh, what? What do you mean?"

"We'd just like a burger without the meat, we've asked that here before many times."

"Oh uh... but... you need to order a full one."

"We've done this before without problems."

"Really??"

"THE BOY'S VEGETARIAN FOR GOD SAKES!!!!! JUST GIVE US THE BURGER WITHOUT MEAT!!!!!!!!!!!"

hahaha... oh boy.

God knows why we went to McDonalds, knowing there was a Burger King just down the street... but what can you do.

That's hilarious!

Haha my funny McDonald's story involves going into the store with my friends in highschool. We pretend one of us is a celebrity while the 2 other guys pretend to be his bodyguard with ear pieces in black sunglasses. Then all of a sudden, a fourth friend who is already sitting and eating, looks at us, points and says "OH MY GOD! ITS HIM!" then start taking pictures. Then quickly one of the pretend bodyguards quickly escorts the pretend celebrity outside while the other pretend bodyguard takes the camera from the guy and pulls him into the alley.

Yeah same here where i live. Its great though when you are on a trip and need that Starbucks fix.
