MCP's heat problems - worth it?

I don't see the reason behind paying $2000 for a machine that gathers so much complaint about its heat problems. Can anyone care to explain why?

MCP = MBP?

This machine is amazing, well worth the money. The heat is an issue yes, but I do believe it will be resolved... I think positive

I would not hesitate recommending one to anyone

while i haven't actually tied the MBP i can tell you that any computer can be very hot, esp. when the processor is fast. even my laptop (in sig) can get so hot that i cant put it on my lap. it doesn't affect the fact that it is a great computer as well as a desktop replacement.
