Hi all. I have a 2013 iMac and a 2016 MBP w/touchbar both running 10.12.3
I also have a Netgear R8500 router
I recently noticed some speed issues when connected to the 2.4ghz radio of the R8500
On both Macs, when option clicking the wifi menubar icon, the MCS index value is listed as 0
However, in system report (under about this mac), wifi/ the MCS index is listed as between 20-23 on both Macs. For some reason, the value doesn't seem to work in the menubar?
Also interesting, is that when connected to the 5ghz ac radio, the MCS index matches on both Macs in both the menubar icon and in system report.
I tried restarting systemUIserver, in hopes that it was something with the menubar....that didn't do it.
Any suggestions would be great...i wonder if this is just a bug...but its strange its only happening on the 2.4 radio.
Thanks
