MDP capable of video AND audio?

Hey all,

I was looking to buy this cord to watch some of my 720p content from my air, on my tv.

At the bottom of the page it says this: "Note: *Audio support available only on MacBook Pro computers released after mid-2010. Earlier models require a separate 3.5mm-to-3.5mm cable for audio."

Does this mean that my 11" air won't be able to transmit audio? Only thread I found on the apple support forums said it DID support audio, but I'd like to know for sure before i spent ~50 dollars.

Do your wallet a favor and buy from eBay. I have that adapter and audio works flawlessly with my 13" MBA.

I could have sworn I posted a link to this exact same thing yesterday, but I must have gotten distracted by something shiny.

Anyway, +1 to this - much cheaper, and not even one of those things you have to wait 2 weeks to come from Hong Kong
