mds_stores CPU usage after restart

Every single time when I restart my Mac mds_stores clogs up my system for some minutes, with Wifi and without, on battery or not. I don't know why but it has been like this since autumn and it won't stop.
Is this normal?
If not, what can I do to resolve this?
Restarting the machine obviously doesn't work...

I have the same problem... there is a solution? for now the only one is disable spotlight ... I hate Spotlight since mac os x was released
I use a catalog app (neofinder)
