me.com email address question

I got the @me.com email address (with the updaye to iOS 5) and when I go on iCloud.com I know I put in my Apple ID, can I change my Apple ID to the new @me.com?
 
I'm curious on this as well. I have the @mac / @me (same e-mail just with 2 different endings) can I just have the @me when I move to iCloud.
