For some reason my mobileme email account isnt receiving new emails at all right now. Anyone else having this issue? I tried sending an email to the account and nothing comes through (not just on my iphone but on me.com as well). I have my GMail account forwarded to my me.com account and havent received any email since 5:00am EST. What's going on now!?!?

Might be GMail not Me.com

Not GMail b/c I tried sending to my me.com address from 3 of my other addresses and none of them were delivered. Definitely an issue with MobileMe.

I can access my MobileMe email account online but no new messages are coming through. I think this is a different issue!

Yeah I have noticed an issue also. Incoming email seems to be delayed (mail.app, iPhone, and me.com).

Yeah I have noticed an issue also.

Me three. My dad just re-sent me an eMail he sent Friday that I never received. I looked it over to triple check, and he got the address correct. It just was simply never delivered.

And, I STILL have the issue where if I delete an eMail from the inbox on my iPhone, it only Copies it to the trash on MM, but the original stays in the inbox.

I can tolorate a lot, but the missed eMail made him think we did not want him to come visit us today!

I have seen this too. It also happened with the .mac service. If you delete one of the emails from me.com inbox, it will remove the rest from the inbox that were deleted from the iPhone.

No email here since Thursday. I'm a big Mac/.Mac fan, but not for long. Even if this gets up a running later today, I'm going to need substantial compensation from Apple for this. My time is worth well over $300 an hour and tossing me a month of free "service" does not cut it. I know I'm not alone here, so I hope the remainder of the 1% also insist one compensation.

Chalk up one more peep who can't receive any MobileMe email on any device AND I can't access the mail on me.com either, just a blank page with the navbar at the top.

It's working fine for me - I sent myself an email from my Gmail to my Me account and got it within a matter of moments

i've been having the same problems for a couple of days now i believe.. First i noticed it on my mail app that had the problem icon next to my mobile me account... Then when i went to me.com to see my mail everything else works but i get blank screen for the mail part.

BUT on my iphone i was recieving my mail from .mac... so i think. ANyway i downloaded an app and it messed up because it made 2 copies on my iphone, one was a blank icon... so i restored it and restored from back up and its still there... wtf?....

anyway when i try to set up my mail on my iphone, now it says not getting ssl.. wtf when is it going to work?

Mine was down last night, but is back up now...Apple jumped the gun when they said all services were up and running.

They still haven't fixed the delete issue where you delete an email on the Mac, but it doesn't delete anywhere else.

MobileMe not working

I have no email on my mac, on my iPhone, or on MobileMe from my PC at work. I just got off the phone with Apple support, and they said it is a widespread outage of the smtp.mac.com server. They admitted that the problem is more than 1%.

Well my MobileMe email started coming through again late last night through this morning. Now it is down again. NO emails coming through my MobileMe account. I'm lucky I just had my GMail account forward bc otherwise I would have lost all my emails. This might be the worst email service I have ever used in my life but I am hoping they get it fixed bc when it DOES work it makes the iPhone that much better.

Agreed.

It's so flakey right now - very frustrating. We seem to get glimpses of greatness when it works. That's why I'm holding out hope.

You know, that's what everyone keeps saying, "Wait for the trial before deciding".

Honestly, that is ridonculous!!!! You have a trial to decide how the WORKING product suits your needs. A trial is not a period of time you grant the company to see if they can get their shi$%$%t together.

No mail for you!!!

I just tried sending e-mail from three different accounts (yahoo, work, and my ISP) and none of them arrived at MobileMess. I tested calendar syncing between my two iPhones at the same time and that worked great. An entry made on one phone showed up on the other within 2 minutes. Same for deletes.
