just on the trial of mobile me. got my @me.com account. is there any way i could still use this after my trail expires ? don't fancy £60 a year for mobile me.

You need to subscribe to the MobileMe service in order to continue to receive the perks associated with the service - your @me.com e-mail address being one of them.
If the price is too high for you then you don't want an @me.com account.
Not to be a d0ucheb@g but you can either have your cake or eat it.
