iPhone and iPad both keep auto-correcting me to mr and it is really starting to piss me off, after I've read my sent emails etc.

Is there some way to teach this software?

And WTF are they thinking? Clearly me must be used more often than mr, or at least often enough to not auto correct it for you.

Feel free to post the other annoying suggestions/corrections here. Most seem alright, this one is plain silly...

The software seems to take a while to learn, particularly if you're used to your iPhone which has learned some time ago. I spent a few hours typing various crap and it's much better, though still imperfect.

This really annoys me on my iPhone. Sorry cannot help more, am just glad to find it's not just me going bonkers!

Same thing happens to me on my iPhone, not so much on my iPad though. Drives me crazy every time it autocorrects to mr!

Contacts

Create a contact called dictionary in first name. Then in last name or the line below type all the words you want to use that the iPhone or iPad does not recognize. One of the places the auto correct looks at is your contacts in case your spelling a name etc.

I did it for curse words etc bc it got annoying when it would autocorrect for me, I know it sounds juvenile but sometimes you need to drop the f bomb and not have to get auto corrected ;)

I recommend typing dictionary as first name so it's easy to find later if you need to add to it.

That is a great hint! Will have to try that.
