I just got some new furniture for my living and realized exactly how many DVDs I have and how unsightly they are to look at, so I'm looking into Media Center options.
What I'd like from this is the ability to play DVDs (from a physical DVD and from a VIDEO_TS folder) and TiVO-like options. I'd probably build my own PC for this and it would likely run Linux (unless there are better options out there).
Does anyone have any experience with any apps in particular? I've heard names like MythTV and BeyondTV thrown around, but I'm curious to know if the MR hivemind has any kind of opinion on the topic?
