iPad Media Player for iPad Which Can Play Anything ??

Hello,

i am looking out for a Media Player Which has an iPad version which can play any format of videos and any format of audio from the AV File. I have some Dolby Atmos Content Which is encoded in Dolby Atmos Sounds Which when I play on VLC also does not give any Sound output.

Something like MPC-HC or Potplayer.

So I am looking out for a Media Player Which will play anything thrown at it !

Any suggestions ? Has to have an iPad Version also.

For Dolby Atmos support, the iPad has to be 11" Pro or 12.9" Pro (3rd Gen and above). Not sure that any 3rd party supports it.

Even any first party does not support it. lol ! is there nothing on the APP Store like a versatile player like MPC-HC or PotPlayer ?

I use PotPlayer on my Win10 machines and nPlayer on the iPad.

So nplayer will not work Dolby Atmos encoded File ? I mean when I play this file in VLC the Video plays but it does not give any sound ! The Audio does not play.

I don't have any Atmos video myself but I downloaded the Leaf sample from here -

Audio from it played in both VLC and nPlayer one my 2018 12.9 Pro. What iPad model are you using (my comment above)?

I have some Movie Clips which I am told are encoded in Dolby Atmos sound so when I play them on my iPad Pro (2018) in VLC only Video Plays that same video just plays video, there is no sound coming from it. Like a Silent Movie ! lol !

MPC-HC and PotPlayer plays it perfectly well on my Windows Laptop.

Funny - that test clip I loaded would not play audio in PotPlayer on my Win10 laptop (but would in Windows Player).

Just a passing thought. is there any media player which offers the Functionality like skip 10 secs forward or backward like it is available in Netflix and Amazon Prime ?

In nPlayer, single-tapping the FF or REW controls move forward or backward 10 secs.

There's no formal user guide but their FAQ has the same useful info (e.g., the default step is 10 secs. but can be changed in Settings).

VLC Viewer lets you swipe the screen to go forward or back a certain number of seconds which i think you can set in the settings.
