Media Player Install?

I d/l WindowsMediaInstaller.bin file from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/software/Macintosh/osx/default.aspx
when I try to open it though, OS X asks me to choose an application to open it with. Can somebody help?

Try using Stuffit.

isn't stuffit supposed to be included in my OS X 10.4? I couldn't find it in the applications folder or using the spotlight search.

Nah, they stopped bundling it in Tiger. It came with Panther etc.
