I think it's just old news that's still in the feed. There are still WWDC08 stories flashing through there.

I hope Apple at least knows that they pissed off a TON of people by now. We can only hope our prayers to the flying spaghetti monster will be answered and we can get the iMac and mac mini updates we've been longing for.

Aaaaah right - sorry! Yeah I've just seen it. Maybe someone at Apple got excited and posted that early. I clicked on the link but it goes to the Hot News page, which as expected has no news.

Let the rumours commence ...

When i found the page i accidently went to the nz page but when you click the link theres no news on it.

LMAO let the rumors commence

indeed.

Apple has to update their desktop line. There is no other option for them. We ARE talking about technology here, and the iMac (and the mac mini especially) are so outdated now, that they have no choice but to do this soon. There's a lot of pissed off people about this, and I'm pretty sure someone at Apple has figured this out by now.

All we can really do at this point is wait. Perhaps the update will be this month, maybe next month, maybe march, who knows. It's coming. Just find something to keep you preoccupied and check the store every tuesday morning.

I'm on my phone right now so I can't really look again but in the other thread where this is mentioned I gave a link to the feed. It's the old iMac

It's old news, the date on the "Apple updates iMac" states April 29th, 2008. So, that "Hot News" you're referring to dates back to the iMac's last update. Last year. If you also read the text, it details all the specs for the iMac as it is now, nothing new there..

No sign of that major update we're all hoping for.

Oh well, I'll be praying that flying spaghetti monster...

It also mentions an event that happened half a year ago, around the same time as when the last new iMac's came...

Stop being noobs :p

Well, they still screwed up.

If it is the old iMac, then their "Hot News" lead story is more than 7 months old.
