Meetup.com functionality in an app?

I thought Meetup.com would be a good way to promote a for-profit sports league that a friend of mine is starting... or at the very least, manage RSVPS and set attendee limits.

Apparently for-profits can't use MeetUp.com

But Meetup.com does have some functionality to be admired. You can clearly see a group's upcoming events. As a group admin, you can create events, set attendee limits and manage RSVPs. As a participant, you can RSVP.

Is their an app for this kind of functionality?
