I’m wondering why Memoji/Animoji were baked into the messages app and not a stand alone? I get they’re “social” features but I think baked in the camera app or their own app would have been better suited.
Two things I’ve noticed that aren’t very intuitive with regards to creation of the Memoji/Animoji:
1) You have to be in a message. If I’m recording a karaoke type Memoji/Animoji, I should be able to do that from the camera app. I sent so many Memoji on accident Monday while playing around with it and recording things, funny to me, but I’m sure annoying to some of the recipients, especially my non iPhone X cronies.
2) Selfies - You can see the chosen Memoji/Animoji over your face in real time pre photo but you have to take the picture and apply the effect post photo? That seems backwards.
