I've got a new iMac on order with 1MB ram.

I've ordered a 2x2MB RAM kit from OWC.

Should I unbox and fire up my computer BEFORE putting in the new RAM or unbox it, replace the RAM and THEN fire it up for the first time??

Or will it even make a difference?

Boot it up quickly then put the ram in, just to be safe nothing should be wrong with the unit or the ram but better to be safe then sorry.
