memory leak in mobile me contacts in XP?

I was wondering if anyone else is having major performance problems with Moble Me in XP.

I was adding a bunch of contacts in and over a short period of time the respoce time was getting slower and slower until it was un-usable and then hung.

The hard disk was chugging away so I checked the machine performance and sure enough it was writing to the Page File resources were at close to 100%.

(there is 4G of RAM on the pc)

I re-booted and tried again, both in Firefox 3 and Explorer 7. Same problem after mobile me with the contacts application open for aprox. ten min.

Same here. The contacts page in me.com tries to reload itself again and again, all the while using about 13-15% CPU. The amount of RAM that Firefox 3 uses after opening this page continues to climb to well over 400 Mb on my 4 Gb RAM WinXP machine. The same thing happens in Internet Explorer 7.

Yup, if you do a search this issue is well known with FF3.x and XP.

I believe it is actually an AJAX issue with FF. I was hoping that the latest rev. from Mozilla this week would have fixed it, but no luck. This is the first I've heard that IE7 also had the problem.

After I check MM for whatever reason, I generally close the tab. Sucks.

If it is an *Apple* programming issue, they obviously are burying the heads in the sand in hopes you switch to Safari.
