I've had this problem for some time now; just decided to ask about it. I have a Imac running Sirra version 10.12. I have 10 gig of memory. I use Google Chrome as my browser. There is a weather site (The weather Network) that I use to keep track of the weather in my location. Problem is; if I leave the page open at this weather site for any long period of time; it gobbles up all my memory. Just a few minuets ago I checked my computer and my memory program showed that I had only 23 mb of memory left. This is common for this site. Just wondering if someone knows what could be causing this and what I can do; other than not use this site anymore.

Tried using Safari on the same site?
No. I don’t like Safari. But having said that; I’m presently on Safari and I will leave it on the said site just to see what happens. This is the only site on Chrome that I have a problem with. Just wondering what I can do; if anything; to remedy this.

If the actual Chrome process is consuming all of it, not much you can do except check your extensions or try upgrading to the dev version of 55 which is suppose to cut RAM usage in half. Or use another browser.
