Hello Ladies and Gents,

Looking for recommendations to max out the memory on my 2012 Mac Mini. Here are the specifics:

MAC MINI (LATE 2012)
Processor 2.5 GHz Intel Core i%
Memory 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB

Thanks for the help. FYI. I'm looking for something from Amazon so I can use some gift cards I received at Christmas.

Great, took about 2 minutes for the removal of old RAM and installation of the new. Haven't had any issues running multiple VMs while listening to iTunes and browsing.

Thanks man. I will get this one as well. I just need to wait until February for my birthday to get the rest of the cash.

This Is The Easiest Upgrade But...

You must respect the clips.

Like most others, my RAM upgrade on this 2012 mini went smoothly and took less than ten minutes including cables and booting OS X. A RAM upgrade on a Mac mini is not a risky procedure but, I cannot guarantee you the same result that I got.

Sometimes the simplest upgrades can go terribly wrong. When you read the threads note that the last bad outcome was reported on this forum on 01/07/2015.

Essentially what I run my plex server on tho my mini is the 2011 with Radeon HD 6630M 256 MB
