Hi
Now that I've my lovely and beautiful TrashCan to play with, i'm of course willing to max it out as it's so cheap to buy stuff on the market.
I've ordered a E5-2667 v2 to keep high clock speed on single core but at the same time a bunch of cores for the one or two WM i'm running on VMWare Fusion.
I currently have 32GB (4 x 8GB). These are the Apple original Rams.
I'm considering buying 4 x 16GB and i found a good offer (50$) for some at 1333Mhz: Samsung 1333 MHz ECC reg 240 pin ddr3
They are coming from an HP Proliant server.
I wonder if there is a real difference in terms of performance between 1333Mhz and 1866Mhz memory speed? Will i see a difference working on my Mac everyday?
I tried to find some benchmark but didn't find any. Any of you did some tests? Any testimonials?
Thanks
