Hello, was checking out advice for 21.5" iMac late 2013 upgrades for an SSD and memory (if it's open, why not?) and I'm doing this for my aunt whose iMac is running incredibly slow. She has maybe 1/10 of the hard drive being currently used so it might be going bad, it is the original unit. Question (opinion?) about memory; on Amazon they have the 8gb mention but I also noticed they had one that was unbuffered. This seems to be a bit cheaper but just a little. Any advantage or disadvantage to this one vs. what I presume is buffered? Thanks.

Then a bump few hours later here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/21-imac-late-2013-extremely-slow.2122668/post-29179955 before opening this new thread in addition to all that.
And all that for a question you could easily get a direct answer to by simply googling. This has been answered on hundreds of websites...
First off I tried to delete my 2 original posts from that thread so I could get seen the question here and I couldn't, and I asked here because that was where I saw the SSD device info about an iMac running slow...sorry to have wasted your time with a stupid question, you probably shouldn't have bothered answering.

I answered to save others the time. Having a thread open with 0 replies causes those answering on this forum to repeatedly look at the thread and waste more time.
So have you done your job and googled your question? Then do others a favour and post the answer here.
