Hello Everyone,

I am looking to upgrade the memory in my Mid 2012 3.2GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon Mac Pro desktop from 8GB to 32GB. Can anyone help me with the best place to get this memory? I've tried sites like crucial but do not see it listed after putting in my specs. I imagine this would be harder to get now but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

I do like those two vendors:

I bought mine off Amazon. Paid $105, so I see it's gone up a little. I think the same seller is available on Ebay for a little less. I recommended to a friend, and he got the same thing. Been working w/o issue for 6 months.

If you're not shy of server pulls, check out eBay. I was patient and ended up with 48GB of Nanya RDIMMs from HP Z workstations in the optimal triple channel configuration (8GBx6) for around $80US. Search "pc3-10600r" and your hunt can start there.

Edit: Couldn't help myself; I love eBay hunts! Here's a good deal (for anyone) if you happen to buy before 8:00pm EST on Nov. 21.

Buy 3 of them to get 48GB. Then using the eBay app, use this promo code (PICKFAST) in the app to get 15% off.

According to my calculations, that's 48GB for $69.26. Even without the 15% promo, $81.48 is a pretty good deal. Also checked to see if anyone had experience with these sticks and found a post on Apple support pages where someone states this exact model working in their cMP.
