Hi,
I look for someone who may want to stay in touch with me by e-mail or else, (I could even post photos here if it is allowed, i don't have a website), and who could help me with my progress in Photography.
My goal is to develop my own style, after I have been able to "understand" or "experience" photography through the styles of other photographers.
Some years ago, I visited Washington D.C. There was an art exhibition that I felt very much attracted to, and that after seeing it, I enjoyed very much. It was Picasso's "Blue Period". It was the period before cubism. A very moody period in his life that was also reflected on the bluish color of his paintings.
I remember, I was listenning to the Audio for the exhibition, and it was mentioned that Picasso visited the museum of "El Prado" very often to learn from the masters, among them Goya and Velazquez. He would try to copy their work and style. According to the narrator, Picasso mastered their styles and eventually developed his own.
I would like to try to do the same but with photography. For example, I'll ask you questions that are hard for me, like: How can I achieve with photoshop, or any other program, this or that contrast in B&W; or please criticize my picture; etc.
What do you think about this idea ??? In advance thank you very much for all your help : ) !!!
