Any ideas? It seems to only happen when moving from one desktop to another using mission control while the Finder is active.
I just created 3 desktops and switched between them with finder open. All three windows had the correct menubar on each of them. A couple of things to try. Repair permissions, reboot and see if the issue goes away. Next create a new user, reboot, login to the new user and see if the issue still happens.
Thanks for getting back to me. I have tried all of the above but the issue is still persisting. I wonder if it's worth doing a clean install, or maybe that's more trouble than it's worth.
If you explain in more detail how you created the issue that might help. Maybe I was not doing the same thing the way you were doing it to recreate the issue.
I managed to take a screen recording of the issue. Hopefully this link will work:

What you have shown in the video is how I exactly did it. Could not get the issure to happen. What Mac computer is this happening, please give details.
It's a late 2013 13" retina macbook pro running 10.10.2
I get this bug about a 2-3 times a week. Haven't been able to reproduce it, but it has to do with multiple Desktops.
If you want to find out if a clean install will solve the issue, I would suggest you create a new partition on your internal hard drive and install Yosemite to the new partition. Don't re-install anything on the new partition just leave it as the basic install system. Boot to the new partition and then see if the issue goes away. This way you can test it out without affecting your primary install.
