For some reason, my menu bar became taller (vertically), exceeding the size of the notch on my 16" MBP. I was not able to find any options to bring it back to normal.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you checked System Preferences → Accessibility → Display → Menu Bar Size?

I do not have a 2021 MacBook Pro, but the menu bar is slightly taller than the notch on every picture I’ve seen.

Yup, I did. It’s on default as it always was. In any case, I’m noticing screen captures of other’s menu bars and they’re the same heights as mine. For some reason, I thought it was shorter vertically.
