Hi, I've a query if anyone can help. Just downloaded OS Big Sur on to my iMac but have a problem with the Menu Bar. One of the apps I use is a world time clock (Not Clocks) but the time and location has black text. Everything else has white text so is there a way I can change the text colour on the Menu Bar?

The developer will need to update the app for macOS Big Sur.

I think so....look in sys prefs under General...at the top. You can change how the menu interacts with the 'background' color. Also...I think this issue is mentioned here in MR under one of the forums (MacOS?). Hope this helps.

Thank you. Unfortunately my problem is with text in the Menu Bar and what you have describes seems to affect all the menus.

OK, have now resolved the problem. Thank you.

Didn’t solve the problem completely. It involves changing the display brightness but messes up the rest of the display. I’ve now gone back and having to accept the problem as it exists. Sorry.
