Hi all,

I am new to XCode & objective-C, and I am currently developing an application in IPhone.

I think XCode is quite nice, but it just creates too many windows during coding & testing, I have to drag & hide some of the windows all the time.

I wonder, may I possibly have one SINGLE window in XCode for coding, debugging and searching (like visual studio). I checked the options in XCode preferences, and googled around for a while, but still have no luck :(

thx

In the General tab of Xcode preferences, select "All-in-one" for Layout. The trick is you can't change this while any projects are open so close them all before going into the preferences. You will still have one window for each project, but all the project's views will be together in that window. Of course you will then have a ton of split views and tabbed panes instead of a multitude of windows...
