My pickup order status is still “Order Placed” When will it start to change to “Processing”? Will they cancel my order during this period?

Green will have the least customization options.

Green is best when using a clear case and preferably one that also protects the bottom of the phone or else it will have scratches with silver markings.

That’s not true, the camera housing of the silver and space gray iPhones are different so you will be able to see the back of the phone through the cutout of the case so it does actually matter which color you order, I ordered the silver iPhone 11 Pro 256gb and ordered the black Apple leather case to go with it as well
 
I couldn't bring myself to order the midnight green one. I went with Space Grey for me and Silver for my wife.

Do you guys think I made a mistake ordering the silver/White 11 Pro? I like the white/silver XS that I have now with my Apple black leather case but the silver/White version of the iPhone 11 Pro seems to have a WHITE camera housing which will be visible on the back in the cutout of the case(I plan on using the Apple leather case on the 11 Pro) as opposed to the more toned down black camera housing on the back of the space gray model which is making me second guess my decision

Me personally am not a fan of this years silver because I don't like the color matched camera housing. I am also not a fan of the chromed out band around the phone either I like the more muted colors. That said in my mind I was going for SG all the way until I was able to get into the store early on the app and out of reaction grabbed the new Midnight Green. Not sure if I will second guess my decision as well or not but it is what it is now. Just wait to get it and you can always return it. I have had SG for the X and XS so needed some kind of visual change.
 
Ordered iPhone 11 Pro 64GB in Midnight Green and SpaceGrey.
I'm 99% sure I will keep the Green one but first I want to see them side-by-side.

I’m going to cancel the silver iPhone 11 Pro order (when will I be able to do so? In an hour or so? It’s not letting me at the moment and say to check back in a few hours) and I just placed an order for a space gray one instead as I feel like the white camera housing on the silver model is going to be too obstructing when looking at the back of the phone, delivery date is still Friday the 19th even an hour and a half after preorders went live so it’s all good
 
ordered two phones. hope i dont get canceled because AT&T wont allow more than one upgrade at a time. I get an error now when trying to pick a phone but didnt get the error before. I do have 2 lines on my account fwiw. May try cancelling the silver model thats backordered anyway

I think the silver/white pro looks good - bright and fresh. Despite being sure on the midnight green all week I ended up really torn after looking a videos online last night so have ordered both! Will decide when I pick up in store next Friday. Hopefully I'll know instantly when I see it.

Yeah I just think that camera housing on the silver model is going to stand out too much, I wonder when I’ll be able to cancel the order of my white iPhone 11 pro, don’t need 2 orders on my account that’s for sure

I am leaning towards the space gray model because I can customize lots it skin options with Space Gray model.

With green it is difficult
 
This year Apple seems to have lots of supply.

4 hours after pre-order started and that iPhone Pro can still be delivered on 20th Sept in Hong Kong.

Only the green model is selling more and delivery is pushed to 21st Sept.

Not good signs for Apple.
 
I ordered the Gold, but been having second thoughts about the SG. I'm not in love with the colors this year so it's been hard trying to make up my mind. Through Verizon all but the Green are still available for 9/20 delivery.
 
Easily switched my Pre-Approval iUP from SG to Silver and happy with my decision. Hell would have been happy either way as both are stunning. Midnight Green is nice but I'd get sick of it, and gold is for the ladies. Hope everbody got what they wanted for launch day! Happy Friday!

Is the camera housing on the silver white iPhone 11 pro like shiney glass or is it stainless steel? (I’m taking about the big square around the lenses, I know that the band around the lenses is stainless steel)

On all color models, the square is glass, while the back finish of the phone is matte. This has been reported by most tech bloggers.

The back of the phone is one sheet of glass. The reason the square around the lenses looks different is because Apple chose to only make the non-square area of the back of the phone matte. The square is regular glossy glass and not matte like the rest. This is the one and only reason I didn’t get the silver version. If the square was matte like the rest of the back I would have loved it.

They did the opposite on the iPhone 11 non-pro versions. The backs are glossy glass and the squares are matte.

I don't know, to me it looks like Space Grey but can't tell, my question is do we get FILMIC app free with the purchase of the new iPhone Pro? I know we should be getting Apple TV+ starting November 1 for one year free of charge.
