Merom in all apple computers?

Anyone have an idea of when apple will be updating its entire line of computers to merom? If it hasnt already happend that is...

no one knows for sure as apple is secretive about things it hasn't released yet..it is predicted by many to begin in the coming fall.

It'll happen at Paris. The only reason it has yet to happen IMO is because the supply of Merom chips is not ready to meet demand.

And so if they were to announce "Merom is coming" the sales of Yonah based systems would dry up in the interim. Not a good choice.

There was some speculation on /. that this may be in part on the the reasons why the Leopard preview was a bit ho-hum. If they showed us all the good stuff about Leopard too early no-one would buy Tiger machines.
