iPhone 6s on T-Mobile. When trying to send a link through safari to imessage i am getting message failed 90% of the time. I'll open up a page in safari and click the bottom button (box with the up arrow) to bring up my options to send / share the page. I hit message, type in my recipient and 9 times out of 10 it fails. I also have issues with sending pictures the same way from the photos app but they only fail 50% of the time. Lot's of times the picture issue only happens when I'm on cellular and works fine on wifi.

Anyone else have similar issues or having a recommendation for a fix? I've reset network settings and I've restored and set up as new. Could this be sim card related?

Is the recipient an iPhone or Android user?

Date & Time > Automatically

Go into Messages settings and make sure MMS Messaging is enabled. If it is, toggle off and back on.

Make sure you have updated APN settings from carrier by going into Settings>General>About to manually trigger carrier update if there is one available then update it.

Thanks for the reply. The recipient has an iPhone as well. For your last point, if I go into Settings>General>About and my carrier settings are out of date will it just prompt an update or do I have to do something on this screen to check for an update?

If it is out of date, it will display a prompt to let you know a new carrier update is available and would you like to update. You can also use iTunes as well, once connected to iTunes it will also tell you if there's a new carrier update.

I tried all your suggestions last night and still having issues. There was no carrier update when I went into the page you recommended. Thinking about trying a new sim card since I'm out of ideas.
