Hi guys,

I just encountered something a bit strange and perhaps someone knows what's going on. I was doing some work with "Word" on my MacBook Pro and then started up a game on my iPhone. And then, right before it launched I very briefly saw that a text box appeared with the message: "Inserting from MacBook Pro" (translated from German). At the top there was a round loading indicator which turned into a check mark. I never saw this message before and don't know what it's related to to be honest. I know that there's the possibility to copy text from the MacBook and insert it on the iPhone but when I do this I don't get any message.

Anyone knows why I got this message and what it means?

Thanks and best wishes
Chris

I get this message sometimes when there's a lag in my wifi connection when using handoff. Like, when I paste a text I copied from the macbook on my phone it usually just works, but sometimes this message shows up before it actually gets pasted. So maybe your clipboard has been "prepared" to be used for handoff. Maybe that game had a text box or something where you could have pasted your text or maybe it was just a bug. I wouldn't worry about it :)

Thanks 😀 That makes sense now because the game indeed has an ingame chat.

Have a nice day 👍
