Hi Guys,
So I updated my wife's SE to the latest ios10 and it's great apart from one thing - in messages, the top left hand < touch logo does not work 90% of the time to return back to messages. You can still swipe etc. Is this a bug that needs fixing? I've restarted it etc.

Do similar back arrows in similar positions in other apps work?

Gutted. I hope the its not a sign of a faulty iPhone? :(
The fact that that function and area works fine everywhere else kind of makes that seem less likely, but at the same time it's all fairly strange.

Crossed fingers that the next update sorts it out :) Thank you for your advice! Appreciated!

Just tried it on my SE and noticed I needed to hit it mid to top of the arrow in order to make it go consistently.

Same here guys! Is this some kind of iOS 10 bug unique to the SE?
No, because my wife was complaining about how the arrows changed position, she was on a 6 plus when that was occurring and it also does it for her 7 that she just bought.

I have the same thing it's just really specific where you need to touch. Like you literally have to touch the arrow dead on.

I agree One More, the SE is a great phone. In rose gold, it looks lovely and the camera is really decent.
iOS10 on it is great but it's also really important that Apple fixes this bug on something that is used so often as messages. The arrow does not work at all on new messages. The only way to leave the screen is to swipe.

now i don't know whether i should update my SE

If you use this messages app a lot I would wait with updating your SE to iOS10. I'm still sticking to the latest iOS9 version on my iDevices including my iPhone 5s. I do want a feature to see widgets instantly again when you open the widgets from the top of your phone instead of seeing Notifications first and then have to swipe to left to see widgets.
