Apple support has tried to resolve this issue four times and has not been able to do so, so I'm hoping brighter minds here have an answer. I have a single iCloud identity // password that I use on my Mini M2 (14.7.1), iPhone (18.2.1), and MacBook Pro (Monterey with the last possible update). All three sync to iCloud, including Messages. My iCloud account has more than 3.5GB of free space.
The specific issue is that only the Mini does not display photos sent to me through Messages. The message itself comes through, but I only get this for the image (see attached). Both the laptop and iPhone get the message and display the photo.
I have signed out of iCloud on all three devices and signed back in a handful of times, but there's no difference. AFAIK, my Mini settings are not somehow blocking images in Messages from what I can see.
Any ideas?
