Message sync a disaster lately?

In the last few weeks, Messages of both types just have not been syncing consistently. It's impacting my iPhone, old Mac Pro and new M1 Air equally. Anyone else seeing issues? Maybe something on the back end has changed for the iOS 16 beta launch? Anyone know a fix?

On my iPhone running iOS 15.5, there’s a duplicate Messages toggle in the iCloud settings for me. I have seen users in the iOS 16 forum reporting that too. I got a bad feeling about duplicate toggles.

I don’t have any other Apple device to test syncing with, but I did test turning off and on Messages in iCloud and a previously deleted message appeared?

Probably related to iOS 16, will all of the changes to Messages.

me too. getting leftover ones left on both Mac (latest OS) and iPhone (latest OS).

Not all the time, but much more than before these last two months.
