Messages and Screen Sharing crashing after yesterday's update

After installing Security Update 2015-002 yesterday Messages crashes as soon as I open it and Screen Sharing crashes as soon as I start typing the name of the system.

I've reported these but am wondering if anyone else is experiencing these issues.

I've also found that when I try to open iCloud from System Preferences I get:

Preferences Error

Could not load iCloud preference pane.


Is anyone else seeing this?

And add to this I get the same error with Internet Accounts in System Preferences.

If you create a new user does this happen in that account? Reboot before logging into the new account.

I fixed the permissions in Disk Utility and that fixed the problems.

I don't know why it didn't occur to me to try that first.
