Messages app crash on accessing Recently Deleted folder

Just noticed Messages app on my iPad crashes on accessing Recently Deleted folder. Wanted to check if this is specific to my iPad or new bug..

The app is working perfectly on both my iPhone & MacBook..

Same here. Tried everything and updated to 17.1 still crashing.

Same here. Messages app crashes when I tap on "Recently Deleted".

I'm on iPadOS 17.1.1, iPad mini (5th gen)

Same here. I’m on iPadOS 17.1.2 iPadPro. I’ve done everything I can find online. Works fine on iPhone 15 Pro

I am having the same issue on my iPad running OS 17.2. It works fine on my iPhone, which is running OS 17.2.1.

Updated to 17.3 the issue is still there.

i had this issue was on my iPad (nowhere else on any of my other Apple devices) and switching it to landscape mode fixes the issue.

Fixed with 17.4.
