Guys - does anybody know of a 3rd party app that will allow me to send individual messages to mutiple people? Basically I want to invite 25 people to a get-together but want it to go individually and not as a group MMS

Toggle off 'Group Messaging' in Settings->Messages. That should stop the recipients from seeing everyone else.
