Messages for Mac no longer sends to Andoid phones

I'm not sure what happened, but I used to be able to send messages to people with Andoid phones through the messages app on my mac. I think through some update, this ability has gone away. Anyone able to solve this?

My 2019 iMac is on 15.1 sequoia. My iphone 16pro is on 18.1.
