Messages Google talk facebook chat not working

Hi, I cannot get my google talk and facebook accounts to connect in Messages under Mountain Lion. These were working just fine before on Lion. Can anyone help me with a solution to getting the chat accounts to connect?

Try deleting and re-installing your chat accounts.

Both are working for me. Try removing and re-adding as suggested.

Thanks guys, that worked. Made sure to quit the application after deleting the account and adding it after relaunching messages
