Hey all! I've been having this problem for quite some time now, and it started even before Catalina.
I have a Canon EOS 7D mark II, and I often try to send pictures that I take with it using Messages. They're 20.2 megapixel photos, and jpeg format, which brings them to around 5 to 10 megabytes each.
The sad thing is that whenever I try to send one to a friend, Messages will hang trying to send it - I can send messages to other people except for the one that I sent the photo to. Basically I have to wait for the image to time out and fail to send before I can send further messages. This can take up to 15 minutes for it to fail!
I can sometimes, sometimes! send a photo just fine. I am able to send them to myself via iMessage and they'll go through, and yet to anyone else, it hangs up in sending.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a solution? I will sometimes airdrop them to my phone and then send them from my iPhone through iMessages and then it works fine; but this is terribly annoying!
