It must be that I am not supposed to be communicating with anyone! First my iPhone, and now this:

On the 27th, for no apparent reason, the Messages app simply stopped working on my desktop computer, macOS High Sierra.

I get zero messages on it, and although I can send messages and it give me a "Delivered" message, pepole really aren't getting my messages.

I've tried everything I can think of. Logged out and back in via Apple ID, un-enabled and re-enabled the account...

I've tried to find a solution online, but that was useless.

Any ideas?

Thoughts:
Same iCloud account on iPhone as in High Sierra?
Sent from in iOS is your mobile number not iCloud email address?
^ email address is enable in iCloud in sus prefs?

Doh! I went to check your questions on my devices, and sure enough, my iPhone was using my phone number instead of the iCloud account!

I changed that, and within seconds everything was working well.

Thank you!!
