When I upgraded to iOS 13, I started having problems with messages in iCloud. When I sometimes received an SMS text to my phone (like verification codes), they would never come through on my MacBook or iMac. Sometimes it would come through my iMac, but not my MacBook and vice versa.

I'm tempted to turn it back on because I love the ability to delete a message on one device and it deletes it on all devices.

Is anyone still having issues with it with the latest iOS update? I had previously tried signing out and back into iCloud without help.

There’s really no one that can tell you that. So many of these issues affect certain users and not others and some will occur on certain devices and not others. I have a situation with Safari syncing, fine on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and MacBook Pro, not working on my iPad Pro or iPhone 7. And I’ve signed out of icloud more times on iOS 13 than I have in several years previously. Your particular issue I am not currently seeing but that doesn’t mean you won‘t. Just try it and see.

This is an ongoing issue
, send feedback to apple just not sure if it falls upon deaf ears.

iCloud hasn’t really been working very reliably for me at all recently. iPhone and iPad are fine but it’s anyone’s guess as to whether or not my MacBook Pro will be on the same page, as it were. The podcasts app in Catalina is particularly problematic. I stopped using Messages on the Mac because I could never rely on it to be synchronised with the cloud.
