Messages input box blinks dark gray

On messages when you open a message thread the bottom input bar blinks a darker gray before turning a lighter gray. By input bar I mean the bar with camera and mic icons and the text box. I can't figure out if it's intentional or not but it's distracting so I can't imagine it is. My eyes catch it every time. It happens so fast I couldn't get a screenshot of this. Can someone please just tell me I'm not crazy and comment as to whether this is a bug or an intentional visual tweak?

I see it also. But no reason to sweat it. It's most likely just a visual bug for beta. I would expect it gets resolved at some point. Use the feedback app and let them know.

Been there since beta 1 and I've reported it during each beta thus far. Probably won't be fixed till GM.

Thanks to you both! I did report it as well. Just glad I wasn't imagining!
