Messages is half working

Hello All,

I have the public beta installed. I can see all the SMS's sent or received by my iPhone in Messages on Yosemite, but I can't send them out from Messages on my MacBook Pro.

I have a Late 2011 MacBook Pro and an iPhone 5s.

Any help or idea would be appreciated!

SMS via continuity is disabled in DP4 (and probably PB 1)

I can receive SMS just fine on my early 2011 MBP. I will also see incoming calls from non-iPhone users. I haven't tried to answer yet.

iOS 8b4 and Yosemite Sam DP4 on an early 2011 MBP. I don't have Bluetooth 4.0 available either.

I got a replacement iP5S today and I had to reinstall iOS8b4 from a b4 ipsw. I see an incoming call message and I can see SMS messages in iMessages. This wasn't working yesterday, and I didn't see incoming calls in DP3 or DP2.

In fact, I don't know how I ever got SMS working on DP2 or DP3. It started working out of the blue.
