I doubt I am the only one experiencing this.

I have a few people who I talk to on a regular basis on my computer and iPhone, and we all use the most up to date stuff in regards to Apple.

But for whatever reason, all our conversations with everyone get desync'd, or 2+ conversations with the same person will occur.

Pictures tend to start a "new" conversation with the same person.

Anyone having this same problem, and know of a fix?

.... also the "Sender's background color: Random" on my iMac is isn't random. It's always clear, which is really annoying. Anyone have any idea?

One issue is likely to be that conversations on your phone are initiated by imessaging the phone number rather than the associated email.

As the computer has no phone number it doesnt pick these up so you can get two different streams of message.

In part you can address this by setting the ID to your email address and asking that friends message you through this.

When iOS6 comes along, and an ML update, there should be a better unification of the two but it might not be perfect.
