Messages not working again after updating from PB6

Messages on my iMac has been incredibly unreliable for at least the past six months. Works perfectly fine on my iPhone using iMessage but the Messages app on the iMac would take several minutes (up to five or so) to get caught up. I gave the public betas of Yosemite a try and was very pleased that Messages on my iMac seemed to be working perfectly. Messages would show up on my computer within a couple seconds of my phone getting it. But now after downloading the "official" public release of Yosemite the Messages app is back to being horrible. Anybody else experiencing this?

Mine's stuck trying to log in with my Apple ID, so iMessages is effectively not working for me. It connects my google and aim accounts, tho

Got the same issue, can't log into message. Its just sits on the sign in screen. Frustrating...
