Messages on mac - My replies do not appear

I have not been able to identify the issue to the below Messages issue; does anyone have a solution?

Messages that I send from my iPhone do not appear on my Messages. For instance, if I reply to a friend, I will not see my reply on Mac messages, but I will see everything my friend types

Check the phone numbers and emails that can be used with iMessage under preferences. It should be the same as your phone.

If its the same, try disabling and reenabling iMessage or turning on/off iMessage.

Thanks for the reply. I confirmed the #'s and e-mails are the same for the iPhone and the Mac. Also, I disabled both, then enabled both. Issue persists
