Hi, I just received an iMessage and I read it from my iPhone. When I looked at my computer, iMessage has an unread message count being displayed as (-1).

I have attached a screenshot:

At the moment I'm experiencing following problems with Messages.

1) Both my mac and iPhone is connected to the same WiFi network but one device receives the message and minutes later the other device receives the same message.

2) When I reply to a message from one of my devices, the other device still shows that I have an unread message

3) Messages sometimes appear out of order

Anyone having any of these problems ?

Nope problem here. Did you check System Preferences->Notifications?

I checked and I'm getting notifications that I'm supposed to get. But the problem is that the notifications are appearing on one device and then minutes later the second device gets the notification. And notifications are appearing incorrectly as well sometimes.
